English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian and more. English uses a fast engine (500 MB, once); other languages use the all-language engine (1.6 GB, once).
Clone a voice
Record 20 seconds or use a clean recording. Clone only your own voice or one you have permission to use.
Speed and pauses
Pick 0.8× to 1.2×; the pitch stays the same. Commas get a short breath, full stops a longer pause, a new line a little more, and [pause] a clear break. Fastest on a laptop with a recent Chrome or Edge; keep the tab open while it speaks.
Voice models: Chatterbox Turbo and Chatterbox Multilingual by Resemble AI (MIT licence). Library voice samples made with the Kokoro voices (Apache 2.0).

Is it really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no credit cost, because the voice models run inside your browser instead of on our servers.
Is my script uploaded?
No. Text and recordings are processed on your own machine; neither we nor any third party receive them.
Can I clone any voice?
Only your own voice, or one you have the speaker's permission to copy. You confirm this before saving a cloned voice.
Why is the first run slow?
The voice engine downloads once: about 500 MB for English and 1.6 GB for the all-language engine. After that it is ready in your browser.
What device works best?
A laptop with an up-to-date desktop browser is fastest. Keep the tab open while the voice is being made.
Can I use a cloned voice in Motion Video?
Yes. A voice cloned in the same browser is available in both the AI Voice tool and Motion Video.
